What We Hope To Do
"Our mission is to empower young minds with confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills by providing free debate education to middle and elementary school students. We noticed that students who start debate early often do better in high school tournaments and in school because they tend to have an advantage as their families can afford expensive lessons on public speaking early. Debate skills not only help in tournaments but also improve performance in other classes by boosting speaking, listening, and critical thinking abilities. We started this program to give all kids, regardless of their background, the chance to get ahead."
